Are computers magic? Just how to they do the things they do?

No, computers are not magic, they are science. Although it is very hard to believe that human have created this device and that this small device can do incredible things, it's not a magic.
If it's not magic, then what is it?
It's a combination of hardware and software.
It's a combination of control unit, computer data storage, and input/output.
The control unit reads and interprets the instruction in program and controls the actions a computer does.
The computer data storage stores data and information in the form of image, audio, and text.
The input/output helps the computer exchange information with the outside world.
So how do these make the computer work?
People input commands into a computer using an input device, such as mouse or keyboard, and the control unit reads and interprets it and control the computer to follow the command. Then the computer responds to the command with the information and data stored in the computer data storage via output device, such as monitor or printer.
